Our 2026 Tuber Store Is Now Open!
We are excited to be able to offer our beloved dahlia tubers to you so you can enjoy them in your own gardens. All of our varieties have been selected for cutting beautiful stems for bouquets and arrangements, come from high quality parent stock, and will thrive in a wide variety of conditions. All of our tubers have been grown on our farm. Our tubers are sold with at least one strong ‘eye’. These are the same size tubers we will plant in our fields this spring for our cut flower production.
Guarantee: We guarantee that each tuber will be of the highest growing quality when picked up. We are not responsible for damage or deterioration due to poor storage or handling post pick up. If your tuber fails to sprout within 6 weeks of planting, please notify the farm and we will make our best effort to replace the tuber with the correct variety or a substitute variety if our inventory allows. Grant Family cannot be held responsible for tubers failure to thrive due to weather conditions or pests. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Alice at alice@grantfamilyfarm.com

We are Alice and Chris, and we take our dahlias seriously!
As professional cut flower growers, our dahlia stock is crucial to the success of our farm, so not only do we have some of the most tried and true cutting varieties, we also like to add in the unique and obscure.
Our focus on sanitation, field rotation, is paramount in growing both high quality cut flowers, and tubers for home gardeners and other farmers near and far.
All of our tubers are grown in West Newbury Massachusetts using sustainable practices.
We hope you have a great dahlia season!

What Is A Tuber?
-Tubers are a type of enlarged structure that plants use as storage organs for nutrients, derived from stems or roots.
-Different varieties have different tuber size and shapes
-All of our tubers have a minimum of one strong 'eye' or sprout that will produce the stem, leaves, and flowers.
-When you receive our tubers, the 'eye' may not have begun to sprout- That is a good thing!
-In New England, dahlia tubers cannot survive in the ground over winter and must be dug up and stored safely indoors
-Plant your tuber laying down horizontally, covering the eye with 3-4 inches of soil
